The biggest difference between the Abs Diet and other weight loss plans on the market is that it focuses on foods that people can eat instead of foods to restrict. It focuses on six small meals per day in high lean protein content. It is refreshing in the sense that it can give dieters a sense of empowerment and control. The concept of multiple meals per day has long been championed by nutrition experts as it helps with hunger control and prevents overeating which may be the cause of weight gain in a lot of people. Overall it is nutritionally sound.

It is nothing new. It is well known that eating multiple small meals per day and a diet that is high in lean protein can help curb appetite. It is also kind of gimmicky. Despite its claim that this is the only diet that will take away fat from the midsection, the fact is that when obese people lose weight, they tend to lose it from the midsection first. Despite the fact that it is common knowledge that eating multiple small meals per day can help with hunger control and potentially leads to weight loss and weight maintenance, obesity is climbing in the United States. Sometimes it is difficult for people to eat multiple small meals per day because it takes some advance planning.

This is a weight loss plan that can definitely work for people if followed closely. I think that the plan is sound and as long as the dieter has the discipline to plan out these small meals in advance, it can be a very powerful diet.

It is definitely practical, but it takes discipline as stated before to loss weight on this diet.
